Malvern's Dixie Picnic Expanding To Center City: Report
The Malvern-based, family-owned business will serve its Southern-inspired foods in the heart of Philly soon.

MALVERN, PA – Malvern's Dixie Picnic is heading to the city, according to media reports.
The Southern-food-inspired eatery is reportedly just a weeks out from opening its second location in Center City, according to Philly.com.
Dixie Picnic opened in 2008 and serves up all things southern inspired, with it's upside down cupcakes – called "upcakes" – being a favorite among patrons.

Now, it will be dishing up its favorite and more at 1306 Chestnut St. and will serve items fit for working people, including lunch boxes and breakfast, Philly.com reports.
Dixie Picnic was voted a Best of the Main Line 2017 "Not-Your-Average Treat."
