State Police Seek Missing Man In Delco

CONCORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Pennsylvania State Police are asking for help finding a missing 87-year-old man who was last seen in Delaware County.

According to police, Vito D'Amore, 87, was reported missing at about 5:07 p.m. Wednesday.

Troopers were called to the 500 block of Fox Den Court in Concord Township Wednesday for a report of a missing person.

There, they spoke with a man who said he had not heard from D'Amore, his father-in-law. The man said his D'Amore left his home at about 3 p.m. Wednesday, and that D'Amore did not take his cell phone.

D'Amore is diabetic, very hard of hearing, and without his medication, authorities said.

He was driving a black Ford Edge with a PA registration of WR6829A.

D'Amore is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 145 pounds, with white hair and brown eyes. Authorities said he was last seen wearing blue jeans, a gray sweatshirt, a burgundy jacket, and brown shoes.

Troopers have also contact local hospitals and still have not located D'Amore.

Anyone who has information on D'Amore's whereabouts is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 484-840-1000.
