Man Barricades Himself In Radnor Home Before Police Take Him Into Custody: Authorities
An officer sustained a hand injury during the incident, officials said.
RADNOR, PA — A Radnor man was taken into custody and brought to the hospital after he barricaded himself inside his home Sunday night, police said.
Officers were dispatched shortly before 8 p.m. to serve a mental health warrant at a home on the 100 block of N. Aberdeen Avenue. A man refused to let them into his home and barricaded himself inside, said Radnor Police Sgt. Brady McHale.
After about 15 minutes of negotiating, officers gained access and placed the man into custody. He was brought to a local hospital for treatment.

One officer sustained a hand injury during the incident, McHale said. The officer was released from the hospital early Monday morning.
There are no criminal charges.
