Man Killed By High Speed Train In Delco: Report

A man laid down on the tracks around 10:45 p.m. as a train approached and was pronounced dead at the scene, reports say.

A man was killed by a train in Haverford Township Wednesday night in an apparent suicide, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

According to the report, the man laid down on the tracks around 10:45 p.m. as a high speed train from Norristown approached and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The name of the victim, who the Philadelphia Inquirer said was a 38-year-old New Jersey man, has not been released.
