Michael Bloomberg Speaking At Villanova Graduation
The former New York City mayor and billionaire will speak at the Catholic university's 174th commencement.
RADNOR, PA – Villanova University's Class of 2017 will have quite the commencement speaker when they don caps and gowns May 19, as the school confirmed former New York City mayor and billionaire Michael Bloomberg will address the class.
Bloomberg, who founded Bloomberg LP and wa mayor of NYC from 2002 to 2013, is one of the richest men in the world with an estimated $45.7 billion net worth.
According to the Villanovan, the school chooses commencement speakers based on "how the accomplishments of the speaker can resonate with the graduates as they seek advice on how to optimally translate their undergraduate experience to the real world.

The commencement will be at 4 p.m.,Friday, May 19 at Villanova Stadium on the university's campus.
