More Mail Theft Reported In Wayne
Once again, Radnor Police said a check was taken from a residential mailbox in Wayne and then was fraudulently cashed.
WAYNE, PA — Police in Radnor are reporting yet another instance of mail theft.
This time, police said the theft occurred at a home on the 200 block of Ravencliff Road in Wayne.
Police said a resident told them mail was taken from his home's mailbox on Tuesday, Jan. 25.

The resident learned of the theft when a check he wrote came back and was cashed fraudulently.
This is one of many recent mail thefts in Radnor Township.

In many cases, the thieves steal mail containing personal checks then alter the checks to cash them fraudulently.
Thefts have occurred on numerous streets, including Boxwood, Upper Gulph, Yorkshire, Newtown, and Ridgewood roads, as well as Brookside Avenue.
Anyone who has information on these thefts should contact Radnor Police by calling 911.
