Move-In Day Could Create Traffic Issues: Villanova

The 2017-2018 academic year is about to begin, and that means students will be moving in to Villanova soon.

VILLANOVA, PA – The 2017-2018 academic year is about to begin, and that means students will be moving in to Villanova University soon.

The school said freshman move-in day is Friday Aug. 18.

With an influx of students and their families coming to the area that day, the university said traffic could be troublesome.

Official are anticipating heavy traffic around the campus, specifically near Lancaster Avenue and South Campus.

To alleviate traffic issues, move in times are staggered, beginning at 9 a.m. and lasting throughout the day.

With freshman coming Aug. 18, sophomore, junior, and senior students living on campus will be returning
Monday, Aug. 21 and Tuesday, Aug. 22, officials said.

The first day of classes at the university is Wednesday Aug. 23.
