10-Vehicle Crash Monday On Schuylkill Expressway

A 10-vehicle crash was reported Monday on the Schuylkill Expressway in Lower Merion Township.

The Schuylkill Expressway was closed for several hours Monday morning for the multi-vehicle crash, which involved a tractor trailer.

6ABC reports there were five people injured in the wreck but none of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.

The roadway had been blocked along all of the westbound lanes and one of the eastbound lanes in the aftermath of the crash, which was reported between the exits for Gladwyne and Conshohoken.

Video footage from the scene showed a pickup truck on its side, with numerous other mangled vehicles involved.
