Ages 1.5-3 / 10:15-11AM / $90 (one adult, up to 2 children)

The first years of a child’s life are the most important for learning music. This will lead to a life-long appreciation of music. Parent/caregiver & child will be introduced to the language of music together as they listen to different tonal and rhythmic patterns, live violin playing, and demonstrations of free continuous musical movement. Class sizes limited.

Pre-Twinkle Violin Class

Tuesdays, October 7 - December 9

Ages 3-5 / 9:30-10:30AM / $150 per child

Young students will learn the fundamentals of violin playing: basic posture, bow hold, violin hold, and five Suzuki Twinkle rhythm patterns in a fun and high energy group class setting. Musicianship training is part of the class as students sing tonal patterns, chant rhythmic patterns, and move musically. Class size limited.

Lingchin Liao: B.M. in Music Education and Violin Performance from National Taiwan Normal University; M.M. in violin performance from Temple University.  Trained in Suzuki violin and Gordon institute for Music Learning Theory.  Violin Faculty: Music School of Delaware, Darlington Arts Center.  Freelance violinist in Greater Philadelphia region
