Hatch is the brainchild of Radhika Kakarla, M.D., a board-certified OB/GYN with 20 years of experience, after she recognized a need for a more integrative approach to pregnancy and post-partum care.

"Hatch is a community that is committed to supporting and educating mothers, helping to create a balanced and healthier life, stronger family, and a better world," Kakarla said in a statement. "Our mission is to provide a sanctuary where expectant and new mothers come for support, education and exercise, providing a nurturing experience for moms and babies, helping to facilitate the best of outcomes."

Kakarla then brought Pilates expert Kelly McBride to Hatch where she will serve as the Executive Director.

"Hatch provides a trusted, collaborative and supportive environment for pregnant and post-partum women that nurtures the bond between head, heart and womb through community, education and self-care," McBride said in a statement. "Our team of expert partners helps to bridge the gap between conventional and integrative care for mothers."

Dr. Scott M. Pugh, MD, FAAP also joined Hatch and will offer educational classes and workshops.

David Fox, former President and CEO of Den Tek Oral Care, a global consumer products company specializing in over-the-counter oral care products, is also partnering to help expecting and post-partum mothers with Hatch.
