One Arrested, One Sought In Main Line Range Rover Thefts

One man is in custody in connection with the theft of six high-end vehicles on the Main Line. Another man has a warrant for his arrest.

WAYNE, PA — Radnor Police said one person is in custody and another man has a warrant for his arrest in connection with high-end vehicle thefts from a Main Line dealership recently.

According to police, David Castle, 34, of New Jersey, was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking, theft by deception, and related crimes in connection with the theft of five Range Rovers and one Discovery vehicle from Lane Rover of the Main Line on Lancaster Avenue in Wayne.

Police also said James Shannon Scott, 19, of Philadelphia, has a warrant for his arrest in connection with the thefts, which occurred sometime overnight Monday, Dec. 16 into Tuesday, Dec. 17.

According to police, Scott drove off in a 2017 white Dodge Ram with a New Jersey license plate of 503150R after he was stopped by police.

He was last seen heading east on Lancaster Avenue and struck another vehicle while fleeing.

Police said no one was hurt in the crash.
