
A one-car crash on northbound Interstate 476 in Radnor Township has sent at least one person for medical care and left motorists stranded on their morning commute, according to multiple outlet reports.
Pennsylvania State Police in Philadelphia said the accident occurred at about 7:30 a.m. when one vehicle overturned, trapping the driver, who was not named by police.
Police said the driver was wearing a seatbelt during the crash and needed to be extricated from the vehicle. Police also said the driver had a severed foot and was air lifted to a medical facility. Police did not state the driver's condition as critical or stable.

The crash is reportedly caused over 140 minutes in back up for motorists on I-476 despite the scene being cleared, CBS Philly reports. Police said the scene was clear by about 9:30 a.m.
