Overnight Work Affecting Newtown Street Road This Week
Milling and paving work will force PennDOT to restrict lanes on Newtown Street Road this week during the overnight hours.
NEWTOWN, PA — Drivers will encounter overnight lane restrictions on Route 252/Newtown Street Road in Newtown Township this week due to resurfacing work, PennDOT said.
Route 252/Newtown Street Road will have lane restrictions overnight through Saturday morning.
Lane restrictions will be in place each night from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

The last night for work is Friday night.
PennDOT said the affected portion of Route 252/Newtown Street Road is between Gradyville and White Horse roads.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because slowdowns will occur.
