PECO Gas Line Work To Last Weeks In Radnor

The work may occur on sidewalks and residential properties, PECO said.

PECO will be replacing natural gas mains and service lines in Radnor Township starting next week, and the work is set to last 12 weeks, according to PECO. The work will be done in the area of Barcladen Road and Barcladen Circle daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., PECO said.

Crews will be working on Barcladen Road and Barcladen Circle between Lowry's and Debaran lanes PECO said.

Work on the project may occur on sidewalks and residential properties on top of the roadways, PECO said.

Crews may be shutting off gas to residences for about four to eight hours to ensure safety while crews service lines to homes.

Residents will have to allow to natural gas appliances or equipment in homes so crews can perform the work, and later in those days to restore service and relight any appliances, PECO said.

During that time, crews will also move indoor natural gas meters to the exterior of customer homes.

PECO said roads, properties, and sidewalks affected by the work will be repaired within 45 days following the completion of the natural gas main and service line installation work depending on weather.
