PECO Gas Main Work To Effect Numerous Radnor Roads For Weeks

Read on to find out where and when the work will be done so you can avoid sitting in traffic.

PECO will be working to install gas mains in several areas of Radnor Township with work expected to last about 15 weeks.

According to the township, PECO will be working on:

  • Beechtree Lane, from Radnor Street Road to North Wayne Avenue and Cherry Lany
  • Woodland Avenue, from Beechtree Lane to Eagle Road
  • Oak Lane, from Beechtree Lane to Eagle Road
  • Radnor Street Road, from Eagle Road to Walnut Avenue
  • Conestoga Road, Bloomingdale to Church roads
  • Overhill Road, West and Bellevue avenues between Eagle Road, North Wayne Avenue, and Lancaster Avenue. Work in this area is expected to begin Monday, Jan. 23 and expected to last 24 weeks.

Work in these areas is expected to last from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. during weekdays.

Work may occur in roadways as well as on sidewalks and potentially on residential properties, PECO said.

"Any areas impacted on your property will be repaired,the streets will be repaved, and all areas will be restored to their original condition," PECO said. "We will begin to restore your property immediately following the completion of our work to install the new natural gas equipment. Work to repair and repave area roadways will begin within 30 days following the completion of the natural gas main and service line installation work, weather permitting."

Motorists traveling in these area should plan for extra travel time or consider alternate routes.
