PECO Scammers Making Rounds On Main Line: Police
Police said the scammers reportedly ask to see PECO bills then steal personal information from those bills for nefarious purposes.
RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — Police are warning the public of potential scammers making rounds in the Main Line area.
Radnor Police said residents are reporting a possible PECO scam.
According to police, resident said people will knock on front doors and ask to see their PECO bill.

PECO representatives will not ask to see a homeowner's bill at the front door.
Additionally, police said some victims outside of Radnor reported when these people view a bill, they get information from it and then sign the homeowner up for a high cost or variable rate electric provider without consent, police said.

Any resident who gets similar home visits from such people should call 911, police said.
