Penn Prof Speaking On Teenage Brains At Main Line Library
Dr. Frances Jensen, Chair of the Department of Neurology at Penn, will discuss the science behind teenagers decision-making processes.
The teenage brain is quite a mystery, but luckily the a Main Line library is hosting an expert speaker who will elucidate what drives teens to do the things they do.
Dr. Frances Jensen will be at the Easttown Library speaking about the findings of her book. "The Teenage Brain." at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18 at the library, 720 First Ave., Berwyn.
Jensen, who serves as a professor and Chair of the Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, will discuss her 2016 book which uncovers science behind the actions and decisions teenagers make.

Jensen’s research will help you understand the teenage brain, as well as shed light on why teenagers behave the way they do.

- how this all translates to the aspects of teens' sleep, stress, sports, as well as, alcohol and other drug use.
The discussion, hosted by Area Residents Caring and Helping, is free and open to the public.
