PennDOT: Lane Closures Set for Schuylkill on Thursday
Portions of the right lanes both east- and westbound will be closed for tree inspections.

The following was provided to Patch by PennDOT:
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) on Tuesday announced that the right lanes on eastbound and westbound Interstate 76 will be intermittently closed between the Pennsylvania Turnpike Interchange and U.S. 1 (City Avenue) in Upper Merion Township, West Conshohocken Borough and Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, on Thursday (Dec. 11) from 9:30 a.m. to noon, for tree inspections. The majority of the work will occur on the shoulder and not require lane closures.
Motorists are advised to allow more time for travel on I-76 during the inspections because slowdowns will occur. The schedule is dependent on the weather.
