Philadelphia Freedom Valley YMCA Getting Big Donation At Saturday's Villanova Basketball Game
The Philly Y will have some extra coin in its coffers thanks to UnitedHealthCare.
Saturday marks the last home game for Villanova basketball this season, but its also the end of UnitedHealthCare's "Wins for the Y” initiative, which will present the Philadelphia Freedom Valley YMCA with a huge donation check at the game.
Before Saturday's 3 p.m. tip off, UnitedHealthcare will award the Philadelphia Freedom Valley YMCA with a $15,000 check to conclude its “Wins for the Y” initiative.
UnitedHealthcare teamed up with the Y to donate $1,000 for every Villanova men’s basketball home win.

At the final home game of the season, Dan Tropeano, CEO, UnitedHealthcare of Pennsylvania and Delaware, will present the check to Chris Tomlin, vice president of the Philadelphia Freedom Valley YMCA.
At the game, the Wildcats will take on Big East rival Creighton at The Pavilion, 800 Lancaster Ave., Villanova.
