"Philadelphia Graveyards & Cemeteries" Author Presenting In Radnor Oct. 25
Thomas Keels will give a lecture on Philadelphia's burial grounds at the Radnor Fire Company.
Philadelphia author and historian Thomas Keels will be discussing the city's burial ground at the Radnor Fire Company on Tuesday, Oct. 25.
Keels' presentation will focus on his book, Philadelphia Graveyards and Cemeteries, and discuss Philadelphia burial grounds, including one of the most important cemeteries: Laurel Hill. His lecture will also cover the first cemetery to be named a National Historic Landmark and other burial grounds in Philadelphia.
He will also share stories about the resting places of notable historic Catholic, African American and Jewish figures.

The lecture is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. Books will be available for purchase at the event and refreshments will be provided.
