Philly Man Dies After Being Ejected From Car In New Jersey Crash

A 61-year-old Philadelphia man died after he was ejected from his vehicle in a two-car crash on Route 295 in Lawrence, New Jersey.

PHILADELPHIA – A Philadelphia man was killed in a two-car crash on a major New Jersey highway Wednesday night, according to police in New Jersey.

Schlipher Reid, 61, was killed when the 2015 Isuzu he was driving crashed into a 1997 Audi while both cars were headed north on Route 295 in Lawrence Township shortly before 11 p.m., according to New Jersey State Police.

Reid was killed after he was ejected from his car near milepost 66.6, police said. The driver of the other car wasn't injured.

The cause of the accident is under investigation and no further information was immediately available.
