Philly Lawmaker Phones Internet Troll's Grandmother
Do you think he handled the situation properly?

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Trolls. They are everywhere. And we're not talking about the toys or the recent movie. We're talking about internet trolls.
For the uninitiated, trolls are internet commenters whose goals seem only to be making people angry, and with the anonymity granted by the internet, taking on a troll is essentially moot.
But State Rep. Brian Sims, a Democrat who represents the 182nd district in Philadelphia and is openly gay, took his most recent troll to task by calling a phone number on the troll's own page.

However, Sims got the troll's grandmother, not the troll.
"Dear Bigots, posting your grandmother's telephone number all over the same page you use to post slurs on other people's pages is not going to end well for you. Brian," Sims wrote in a Facebook post responding to the comment left on his page.

The troll's grandmother then gave Sims the troll's personal number, which Sims naturally gave a ring.
He told NBC10 that the troll, David, denied making the post, then admitted it, then denied it.
Ultimately, Sims told the outlet no resolution came from the brief conversation with David.
Sims took the opportunity for the recent flood of attention to put out a call to action for those unhappy with the current political climate:
