Police Chase Driver From Philly To Delco Monday, No Arrests Made

Radnor Township Police Monday night said they were helping Philadelphia and State police in chasing a suspect.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — Radnor, Philadelphia, and State police partook in a chase from the city to Radnor Monday night, according to authorities and reports.

Action News reports the chase began at about 8:30 a.m. in the Tacony neighborhood of Philadelphia when police tried to stop a vehicle.

At some point in Philadelphia, one of the vehicle's tires went out but the driver continued on and made it to Interstate 95 then Interstate 476 in Springfield, NBC10 reports.

Then a foot chase took place near East Lancaster Avenue and Interstate 476 near Villanova University's Campus, Radnor Police said.

Radnor Police were assisting Philadelphia Police and Pennsylvania State Police in the chase.

At about 11 p.m. Monday, police said there was no threat to public saffety and police were clearing the area.

Fox 29 reports the driver ran off into a wooded area near the campus.

No arrrests have been made.
