Police: Residential Burglary Attempted in Radnor
The would-be burglar did not gain entry to the home, police said.

A residential burglary was attempted Thursday morning in Radnor Township, Radnor Police said.
Radnor Police responded around 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, to a report of an attempted burglary on the 100 block of Fairfax Road in the Rosemont section of the township.
The homeowner told police that they had briefly left the home, and upon returning found a rear, ground-floor window had been opened.

During the course of their investigation, police found that a patio chair had been placed beneath an unlocked kitchen window in an attempt to gain access to the home.
The would-be burglar did not gain entry to the home, police said.

Police believe the perpetrator fled through the home’s back yard, which borders the Norristown High Speed Line.
