Possible Rabid Fox Spotted In Radnor Township Wednesday

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA – A fox believed to be rabid was spotted in Radnor Township Wednesday afternoon, prompting officials to alert the public and take steps to capture the animal.

Officials said the fox was seen at about noon on the 200 block of South Roberts Road in the Bryn Mawr section of the township.

The animal was described as hairless and sickly looking, officials said.

Crews are setting a trap in the area in an effort to corral the fox.

Children and pets should be watched closely for the time being, officials said.

Anyone who see the fox is urged to call 911 to report the sighting.
