Purse Stolen From Car While Owner Bought Gas: Radnor Police

The owner was getting gas and when she went to pay, the thief struck the unlocked vehicle that had the windows down, police said.

WAYNE, PA – A woman was paying for gas in Wayne this weekend when a thief struck, stealing the woman's purse from inside her vehicle, according to Radnor Police.

Police said the theft occurred on June 10 at a gas station on the 300 block of East Lancaster Avenue.

The victim left her purse while she was inside the gas station to pay for her fuel, police said.

The vehicle was unlocked and the windows were down, police said.

Police remind residents to lock vehicles at all times and keep personal belongings out of sight in a secure place.
