RADNOR AQUATIC CLUB HOSTS "SPLASH AND DASH" SWIM-A-THON

WHAT: Radnor Aquatic Club (RAC) is holding a “Splash and Dash” swim-a-thon event in partnership with a local non-profit organization, “Love to Langa” (http://lovetolanga.org/), to help underprivileged children in South Africa have access to a safe swim program.

WHEN: Tuesday, November 10

4:30 – 6:00 P.M.

MORE: Childhood drowning is a significant problem in costal South Africa. By creating a swim program kids there can learn water safety and improve the community. RAC is hosting a swim-a -thon fundraiser with the goal of raising money (they have raised nearly $10,000 to date) to complete building a swimming pool and to provide swimming lessons for underprivileged children at the Philippi Children’s Center in Cape Town, South Africa.
