Radnor Armed Robbery Suspect Taken Into Custody: Police

A man who police say committed an armed robbery in Radnor two months ago that led to lockdowns at local schools has been taken into custody, Radnor Township Police have confirmed.

Kenneth N. Jones, 31, was taken into custody Wednesday in Georgia. He awaits extradition back to Pennsylvania, Detective T.J. Schreiber of the Radnor Township Police Department said.

Jones was wanted in connection with an alleged gunpoint robbery on Dec. 18 on Pine Tree Road in Radnor.

According to police, shortly after 9:30 a.m. that morning, two males working outside were approached on foot by a light-skinned black man, now identified as Jones.

Jones demanded cash from the victims, police said. He was last seen running on foot south on Pine Tree Road towards King of Prussia Road.

Radnor Township Police issued an active arrest warrant for Jones shortly after the alleged crime.

Jones has additional arrest warrants from Montgomery County, according to police. He has used several alias addresses and names.
