Bank Robbed Friday In Radnor

Police are offering a $3,000 reward for information that leads to the bank robber's arrest and conviction.

Radnor Township Police released a video of a bank robbery that occurred in the township last week and a reward is available for information. The suspect's face is quite clear in the video and anyone who can identify him is urged to contact Radnor Police.

The robbery occurred at about 12:34 p.m. Friday, April 7 at the Bank of America in Wayne, police said.

A man entered the store and handed a teller an illegible note, telling the teller to hand over large bills, police said.

He fled the bank heading east and a witness saw him enter a silver Toyota Camry on Gallagher Road, police said.

The Camry was reported stolen out of Philadelphia, according to police.

Police are offering a $3,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.

He was described as a white male between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall, with a medium build, red or brown beard and hair and was wearing light blue shorts, a gray zip up fleece, a blue hat with a circular logo and sneakers. He was wearing white latex gloves during the incident.
