Radnor-Based Company Among Best Employers In Nation: Forbes

RADNOR, PA – A Radnor-based financial company found itself ranked among the best employers in the nation, according to a new list from Forbes.

Among 21 Pennsylvania companies on the list, was Lincoln Financial Corporation, which is headquartered in Radnor.

Forbes' rankings were released on Tuesday and include 500 companies that have more than 5,000 employees.

Lincoln Financial was ranked 288th in the nation and 15th in Pennsylvania.

The highest-ranked Pennsylvania company was Penn Medical of Philadelphia, which came in sixth in the nation overall.

The rankings of America's best large employers placed tire manufacturer Michelin at the top of the list while the grocery chain Trader Joe's took the No. 2 spot and Google came in at No. 3.

Forbes partnered with market research company Statista to compile the list. Statista surveyed 30,000 people, asking respondents to rate how likely they'd be to recommend their employer to others, Forbes explains.

Respondents were also asked to nominate organizations outside of their own, according to Forbes.
