As the County prepared to enter the Yellow Phase on June 5, the Task Force offered an online small business support store to help businesses procure the supplies they needed to reopen safely, many of which are in short supply. Items included: hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, gloves, masks, six-foot floor markers, and Plexiglas barriers for counters.
Due to the high demand, two additional distributions have been set up. Business owners can order these items online at a discounted price and pick up the kits on either June 22 or 23 from 9:30am to 3:30pm at the Broomall Fire Department (1 N. Malin Rd., Broomall, PA)

The Bringing Back Delco Task Force, formed by Delaware County Council, the Delaware County Commerce Center, and the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce was created in May to support the Delaware County business community to ensure a safe reopening of the local economy.
In addition to PPE, the Task Force has offered webinars to assist business owners with safety guidelines, reopening protocols and plans, and industry-specific information. The website also includes downloadable flyers and graphics for business owners to display and share with their employees.
A helpline has also been set up for business owners and managers who have questions and need help navigating the CDC and state guidelines and who may need support interpreting the guidance. Businesses can call: 610-565-3677.
The Task Force will regularly convene to address the concerns of the community, coordinate, and share best practices that are proven to be successful and distribute information that is needed for an effective and safe transition.
