Radnor Champions Basketball Program Begins Oct. 4

RADNOR, PA – Radnor Champions Basketball is returning this fall for its second season of offering basketball, and important life skills, to area kids with special needs.
The program is designed for kids in Kindergarten through eighth grade. It offers practice and skills workshops and games for your budding basketballers.
Practice and skills workshops will be held Wednesdays each week beginning Oct. 4 and ending Nov. 29. A workshop will not be held Nov. 22. While exact times are to be determined, sessions will be about an hour and 15 minutes and will be held between 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Games will be held Sundays from Oct. 8 to Dec. 3 between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Games will not be played on Nov. 26.
The program is designed to build teamwork, social skills, and athletic ability among other things.

"This unique sports opportunity is designed for participants of all ability levels with special attention
given to players who fear the ball, large crowds, loud sounds, or social situations," the township said.
Fees for residents are $135 per player. Non residents fees are $165 per player. The costs include a jersey and a trophy.
