Radnor Commissioners Fail To Appoint Ward 1 Interim Commissioner
Additionally, the board failed to appoint a new vacancy board chair at Tuesday's meeting. All votes were cast along party lines.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA – Two weeks after the Radnor Township Board of Commissioners showed they can reach bipartisan agreement on something, the board failed to fill two township vacancies along party lines at Tuesday's board meeting.
Appointing a vacancy board chair and an interim Ward 1 Commissioner were on Tuesday's agenda, but neither position was filled after the hours-long meeting.
First, the board was looking to appoint a vacancy board chair after David Falcone resigned from the vacancy board.

With the vacancy board chair vacant, the board moved on to the Ward 1 appointment.
Five residents – James Larkin, James Rogers, Candyce Wilson, Leslie Morgan and Matt Marshall – applied for the seat left vacant by Jim Higgins, who retired from the board on Dec. 18.
Wilson, Marshall, and Larkin received nominations, but all were shot down with 3-3 votes along party lines.
Commissioners will have to appoint a vacancy board chair who will then weigh in on the appointment of the interim Ward 1 commissioner at the Jan. 22 meeting.
