Radnor Day Care Bomb Threat Suspect Arrested, Charged: Authorities

Alexis Steed, 21, of Philadelphia, is facing a litany of charges, including six felonies stemming from the February bomb threat incident.

RADNOR, PA – Radnor Police have arrested and charged a woman believed to have made bomb threats to a Villanova day care center earlier this year, according to court records.

Alexis Mone Steed, 21, of Philadelphia, faces 10 charges – including six felonies such as terroristic threats, risking catastrophe, and reporting a bomb without knowledge of a bomb – stemming from the Feb. 15 incident, according to court documents.

Steed was arraigned Thursday and released after posting 10 percent of $10,000 bail court records show.

She will appear in court for her preliminary hearing on June 1, according to court documents.

6ABC reports police allege Steed was working at New Gulph Children's Center and called in a bomb threat on Feb. 15, causing the facility to evacuate.

An investigation led police to pin Steed as the suspect.

The outlet also reports a second woman believed to be involved has had a warrant issued for her arrest.
