Expected Rainfall from Remnants of Hurricane Delta

The remnants of Hurricane Delta are likely to affect the region late this weekend and into early next week. There is the potential for 1 to 3 inches of rainfall over most of the region from late Sunday through early Tuesday. Because of recent dry weather and because the event will be spread out over about 36 hours, we are not expecting significant impacts for our region. While some typical nuisance flooding is possible, the potential for flash flooding or main stem river flooding appears low at this time. We will continue to monitor the progress of this system and will provide another update by Friday afternoon. Attached is an image of expected rainfall amounts from Sunday night through Tuesday night.
