Radnor High School graduates took the stage at Villanova on June 10 to celebrate the beginning of the rest of their lives.

Radnor High School graduates took the stage at Villanova on June 10 to celebrate the beginning of the rest of their lives.

Here are some quick facts about the class of 2015, according to the high school:

  • Matthew, John, Michael and Jacob are the most common names in the RHS Class of 2015. There are six of each of them, making up more than 8% of the senior class and representing 17% of the 139 males graduating.
  • Out of the 136 females in the class, Julia, Anna and Jessica are the three most popular names; there are four of each.
  • Seven members of the Class of 2015 will be celebrating something else during the week of graduation – their birthday. Happy birthday to Julia K., Siobhan, Ahmed, Julia S., Christina, Boris and Paul!
  • The biggest celebration month for this class is October; 32 seniors celebrate their birthday that month.
  • Three sets of twins will graduate this year.
  • There is one particularly “rad” Radnor grad: Paige Bradshaw.
  • This year’s graduates plan to attend 114 different post-secondary institutions in 31 states (plus Washington D.C.), as well as universities in Canada, Germany and Brussels.
  • The college/university to have the most Raiders as freshmen next year is Penn State, where 36 graduates plan to attend either main campus, Schreyer Honors College or satellite campuses. The second college/university scheduled to welcome the most members of the Class of 2015 is the University of Pittsburgh, where 12 graduates plan to attend. Third is Temple, where 11 members of the Class of 2015 plan to continue their education.
  • Fourteen graduates are set to move on to Ivy League schools: six plan to attend the University of Pennsylvania; four, Cornell University; and one each at Dartmouth College, Harvard University, Princeton University and Yale University.
  • 128 students plan to attend Pennsylvania colleges/universities.
  • 15 students plan to attend Pennsylvania community colleges.
  • Members of the Class of 2015 have plans to join both the Air Force and Army.

Radnor students also celebrate their last day of school on Tuesday.
