Radnor High School Hosting Adolescent Sleep Health Expert
Dr. Wendy Troxel, licensed clinical psychologist and certified behavioral sleep medicine specialist, will discuss how sleep affects teens.

RADNOR, PA – Do you think your student gets too little sleep to be the best they can be? If so, you'll want to attend an upcoming event at Radnor High School that will focus on how sleep health affects adolescents.
The Radnor Township School District Adolescent Sleep and School Start Time Study Committee is hosting licensed clinical psychologist and certified behavioral sleep medicine specialist Dr. Wendy Troxel for a presentation on adolescent sleep to the Radnor community.
At 7 p.m., on Monday, March 12 in the Radnor High School auditorium, Troxel will present "Snooze or Lose: Promoting Sleep Health in Adolescents."

Troxel is a Senior Behavioral Scientist at the RAND Corporation and Adjunct Faculty in the Departments of Psychiatry and Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh.
A licensed clinical psychologist and certified behavioral sleep medicine specialist, Troxel been cited by the media, including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Financial Times, ABC World News Tonight, CBS Sunday Morning, NPR and BBC.

Troxel was also one of the featured sleep experts in the National Geographic documentary "Sleepless in America."
Her TED talk on the impact of school start times on adolescent sleep has received more than 1.4 million views.
This event is free and open to the public but registration is required and can be done online here.
