Radnor Hit And Run Victim Identified: Report
The man was struck and killed Tuesday night while crossing Lancaster Avenue in Radnor Township.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA – Radnor Township Police have identified the man who was killed in a hit and run incident in the township Tuesday night.
Police said the victim was 69-year-old Fred Gitterman of Radnor, according to Main Line Media News.
Gitterman was crossing Lancaster Avenue at about 8:08 p.m. Tuesday when he was hit by an SUV, police said.

Police were called to the 500 block of Lancaster Avenue for a pedestrian hit by a vehicle and found Giterman unresponsive.
Police administered CPS and used an AED on the man before medics arrived and took him to Bryn Mawr Hospital, police said.

He was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to police.
Police learned from witnesses a dark SUV struck the man while he was crossing the street.
Radnor Police Highway Patrol reconstructed scene and is working with Delaware County authorities to investigate the crash.
The vehicle may have damage to its front driver's side and fled toward Chester County after the incident.
