Radnor Home Burglarized In Broad Daylight Wednesday: Police

In a roughly half hour window, the suspect or suspects kicked in the home's door and stole valuables, police said.

A Radnor Township home was burgled in broad daylight Wednesday, Dec. 14, according to police.

Police said an actor or actors gained access to a home on the 600 block of Brookside Avenue between 12:10 p.m. and 12:40 p.m.

When inside, the actor or actors took numerous pieces of jewelry and designed handbags, concentrating on the home's master bedroom police said.

According to police, the victim said they left the home on foot with a child to walk on the Radnor Pedestrian Trail at about 12:10 p.m.

When the victim arrived back home at about 12:40 p.m., they found the front door was kicked in

Police said the victim's vehicle was in their driveway when the burglary occurred and it is possible that the actor or actors were conducting surveillance and saw the victim leave the residence.

Police are reminding residents to remain vigilant, especially during daytime hours, for anyone who may appear suspicious or who does not look like they belong in the neighborhood, including people who may knock on residential doors.

Police are also reminding residents to lock all doors and set alarms where possible.
