Radnor Hosting Delaware County Council Meeting Wednesday

The May 2 meeting marks the 25th meeting Council has held in various communities since the council launched the outreach effort in 2009.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA – The Radnor Township Building will be home to Delaware County Council's weekly meeting Wednesday, May 2. The May 2 meeting marks the 25th meeting Council has held in various communities since the council launched the outreach effort with a meeting in Collingdale in February 2009.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. There will be no meeting of County Council on May 2 at the Government Center in Media.

"Holding evening meetings in the community makes it more convenient for some of our residents to attend a council meeting and become more involved with their local government,” Delaware County Council Chairman John McBlain said. "We enjoy holding meetings at various locations throughout the county where we can highlight events and accomplishments of the residents, local groups and leaders."

Since 2009, when the community meetings began, the council has held outside meetings in the City of Chester, Concord, Brookhaven, Clifton Heights, Chadds Ford, Ridley Township, Upper Darby, Glenolden, Marple, Bethel, Springfield, Prospect Park, Newtown Township, Aston, Garnet Valley, Haverford and Brandywine Battlefield Park.
