Radnor HS Crowns Homecoming Queen, King
Raiders fought hard but ultimately fell in homecoming football game.

Francesca Saionz and Owen Braithwaite were named Radnor High School's 2016 Homecoming King and Queen lat week during the school's football game against Upper Darby High School.
The two seniors were chosen after the entire senior class cast votes for Saionz and Braithwaite, who were up against Grace Constable, Allison Lanzone, Kayla McClatchy and Kaitlyn Slinkard for the queen's title and Alec Escobar, Dylan Freedman, Collin Hilt and Paul Owens for king.
Saionz serves as the Radnor girls basketball manager and participates in the Student Ambassadors club, the spring musical and the D-MAX foundation, the district said. She plans to pursue a career in elementary education.

Braithwaite participates in cross country, lacrosse, the spring musical, Radnor Actors Workshop's "Whose Line Is It Anyway," B-Sharps Choral Group, Student Ambassadors, SpeakUp!, Honor Council, Mr. Radnor Pageant. Braithwaite is exploring his options after graduating, the district said.
The district said the Raiders played tough defensively but unfortunately lost to the Royals, 10-7.
