Five of the AED's devices are mounted at Radnor public facilities.
Radnor's Lacrosse community has donated 14 Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), which are used in cases of life threatening cardiac arrhythmias that lead to cardiac arrest.
12 were donated by Radnor Youth Lacrosse (Boys), and one each by the Friends of Radnor Lacrosse (FORL) and Radnor Girls Youth Lacrosse. Also making contribution to the effort were St. David’s Church and Cardiac Science Corporation, according to a press release.
Peter Samson, who helped develop lacrosse in Radnor, Ernie Shapiro, president of the Friends of Radnor Lacrosse, and Wayne resident Grace Waddell were commended for their parts in the effort.
