Radnor Middle School Orientation Set For April 5
As your kids leave elementary school, you'll want to know what to expect as they head to middle school next year.

Transitioning from elementary school to middle school is a big step for a lot of students and parents or guardians.
It's a symbolic coming of age and one of childhood's milestones. So why not get familiar with the middle school your student is heading to?
Parents and guardians of students at heading to Radnor Middle School in the 2017-2018 school year are invited to attend middle school orientation at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, at Radnor Middle School, 150 Louella Ave., Wayne.

The meeting will have a welcome reception at 5:30 p.m., and parents/guardians are encouraged to attend the reception to meet other parents/guardians.
The presentation – which is for current fifth grade students' parents or guardians only, including students who attended elementary school outside of the Radnor Township School District and will attend RMS – will include an overview of the RMS curriculum, daily schedule, teaming, extracurricular activities and other services, the district said.

Fifth grader classes will tour RMS in May where current sixth graders will talk about the move from elementary school to middle school and sixth grade teachers will meet with incoming students, the district said.
