Radnor Police Report Nine Thefts from Vehicles Sunday Night

Authorities also say a Radnor home was burglarized Saturday evening.

Cash and loose change were stolen from nine unlocked vehicles during the overnight hours of Sunday into Monday, according to the Radnor police department.

According to authorities, the thefts occurred on the 500 Block of Brookside Avenue, 500 Block of Askin Road and the 300 Block of Orchard Way. The suspects removed cash and change from the unlocked cars.

Any residents that may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or know who committed the crime are asked to contact Radnor Police at (610) 688-0503. Radnor police also reminds all residents not to leave valuables in vehicles and to lock all vehicles when unattended.

Radnor Police also responded to a residential burglary Saturday night in the 300 block of Conestoga Road in Wayne. The burglary occurred between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m., police say.

According to the alert, the suspects forced entry into the home through a rear window, removed jewelry and fled on foot through the rear of the property. The residence was unoccupied at the time. If any suspicious persons were observe in the area of the 300 Block of Conestoga Road or in the 200 Block of Lansdowne Avenue, residents are asked to contact Radnor Police.
