Radnor Police Reporting Third Vehicle Burglary Incident This Month

At least three vehicle burglary incidents have occurred in the township this month.

Radnor Township Police are reporting another incident where a vehicle was broken into and burglarized, marking the third reported incident of similar crimes in the township this month.

According to police, the incident occurred in the overnight hours of Friday, Jan. 27 and Saturday, Jan. 28 on the unit block of Black Friar Road.

Police said the vehicle that was hit was unlocked and the thief or thieves took several personal items from the vehicle.

Earlier this month, police reported vehicle burglaries on 500 block of Longchamps Drive in Wayne late Saturday, Jan. 14 and early Sunday Jan. 15, as well as on the 500 block of West Wayne Avenue on Jan. 18.

Police are urging the public to lock vehicles at all times and remove any valuable items from inside vehicles.

Police also encourage the public to use exterior lighting when possible to deter potential thieves from targeting vehicles.
