Radnor Police Urge Residents To Lock Vehicles, Remove Valuables

With the summer months on us, police say there is an increase of vehicle break-ins. Residents should lock vehicles and any remove valuables.

RADNOR, PA – Radnor Township Police area reminding residents to lock their vehicles during summer months when vehicle break-ins increase.

Police said residents should be vigilant about locking their vehicles and placing all valuable items out of sight, especially after reports of Felony Lane Gang activity in Radnor and surrounding areas.

"Surrounding Townships are experiencing vehicle break-ins similar to the ones which occurred in this Township on June 06, 2018," police said. "During these incidents, five different vehicles, located in parks, country clubs, and swim clubs, were entered either through an unlocked door, or by breaking the window."

Police said in those break-ins victims had wallets and credit and debit cards stolen, which were then used in fraudulent money withdrawal attempts at banks as close as Hatboro and as far as Florida.

Residents are encouraged to not leave valuables inside any unattended vehicle, police said Residents are also encouraged to immediately report any suspicious persons to police by calling 911.
