Even during a pandemic like COVID-19, the Radnor Township Recreation and Community Programming Department endeavors to administer year-round recreational programming and community events for all ages as well as to safely operate Township facilities. “Outdoor recreation provides important stress relief, socialization and nature appreciation, especially in times of crisis,” said Tammy Cohen, Director of Recreation and Community Programming.

As park and recreation professionals continue to take necessary precautions and observe COVID-19 related guidelines, the Radnor Department of Recreation is focused on delivering the best experience to all park and open space visitors. During Fall 2020, in compliance with the regimented health and safety guidelines in place, the Department has sold out much of its community programming including Preschool T-Ball with Jump Start Sports at Clem Macrone Park, Preschool Soccer Shots at Clem Macrone Park, Radnor Township Dance Team at Bo Connor Park, and Spooktacular Halloween, a themed park & trail scavenger Hunt held last Sunday.

“Thank you so much to the Radnor community for supporting Radnor Recreation during this time of uncertainty. The teamwork and innovation shown by our dedicated staff has created tremendous opportunity for the Radnor community to recreate in new and creative ways while social distancing,” said Cohen.
