Radnor Cancels Friday, Saturday Recycling Collections

The township initially suspended collections for Thursday only, but the forecast led officials to forgo collections until Monday, Jan. 8.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA – Radnor Township officials have canceled Friday and Saturday's planned recycling collection due to the predicted wind and temperatures for the remainder of the week.

The announcement was made Thursday afternoon after officials examined the coming days' forecast.

Recycling and trash collections will resume the normal schedule on Monday, Jan. 8, the township said.

Initially, just Thursday's collections were canceled, and residents in District 1 were to have recyclables collected Friday, Jan. 5 while District 2 residents' materials were to be picked up Saturday, Jan. 6.
