Radnor Reopening Municipal Building With New Health Safety Plan

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — Officials in Radnor Township are looking to get back to a bit of normalcy by reopening the municipal building in phases and adding safety measures to protect residents and staff from the coronavirus.

According to the township, half of municipal staff reported to the building Monday and the other half are reporting to work today, Tuesday.

While staff is on site, the building is still closed to the public.

Township staff will be stepping through the new safety protocol, receiving personal protection equipment, and cleaning up their desks.

Then, the building will reopen at 8 a.m. Wednesday, but with new policies on safety in place.

The public will only be permitted in the lobby area and all department gates will be closed.

Starting with the public reopening, and until further notice, the administration will operate with a staggered staff every day.

All citizen advisory board meetings and room reservations are cancelled through the end of April.

Additionally, the township is urging any payments to the township be made online with a credit card. If payments need to be made in person, checks are preferred. Cash payments should be avoided, the township said.
