Radnor Roads: I-476, Radnor Chester Road Restricted Monday Through Friday

RADNOR, PA – Two projects will cause traffic restrictions on two roads in Radnor township soon, according to PennDOT.

Radnor Chester Road will have traffic restrictions next week to accommodate PECO work, PennDOT announced.

According to PennDOT, the road will be affected between Browns Lane and Meadowcrest Road on Monday, May 1 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

PECO crews will be working on utility improvement in the area.

Traffic will be controlled by flagging.

Additionally, intermittent lane closures are scheduled on northbound and southbound Interstate 476 between the West Chester Pike/Route 3 and Lancaster Avenue/U.S. 30 interchanges in Radnor, Haverford, and Marple townships.

The closures will be in effect 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday

PennDOT said crews will be working on crack sealing during that time and depending on the wather,

Drivers should plan for longer travel times when driving trough the area. Motorists may also want to consider alternate routes.
